Cambodia

Cambodia is a beautiful and unique country within Southeast Asia.  Its most famous icon is Angkor Wat, which is not a single site but rather a whole region filled with amazing ancient palaces, temples, moats and giant carved faces. Angkor Wat is inclusive of Angkor Thom, Bantae Srei, Ta Prohm (where giant tree roots wrap in and out of the ancient temple stones), Prea Vihear, and much, much more.   The ancient ruins of this 9th-12th century Khmer empire truly deserve to be considered one of the Wonders of the World.  


Laos

Laos is a small but delightful country with perhaps the gentlest and most lovely people in the world! The delightful town of Luang Prabang is the home to many 16th century Buddhist Temples as well as the 19th Century King’s Palace, which is also named Luang Prabang.  Most of the western border of Laos is marked by the Mekong River, providing many opportunities to cruise along the river and visit many small, quaint villages and temple sites.  The capital city of Vientiane has many beautiful temples and Stuppas. The mystifying Plain of Jars, which is comprised of numerous giant stone containers, presents a true mystery,



Malaysia

Malaysia is a land of contrasts, which features extremes from the famous twin Petronas Towers in the modern city of Kuala Lumpur, to the ancient head-hunters of Sarawak, Borneo.  It has beautiful, modern beach resorts in Penang and Langkawias well as jungle river cruises in Kinabatangan complete with crocodiles, monitor lizards, exotic snakes, birds, Probiscus Monkees and the irrepressible Orangutans. Enjoy stays in jungle lodges, luxurious beach resorts, or Long Houses of former head-hunters and head-shrinkers. 

 


Bali - Indonesia

Indonesia is a giant archipelago, comprised of over 13,600 islands.  Its most famous destination is Bali, which is an island paradise with beaches, mountains, Hindu temples, art, culture, nature, rich dramatic and dance arts, gorgeous Batik fabrics, carved masks and wonderful, kind people.  There is so much to see and do on this little island. The lsland of Java has many ancient temples, from the Buddhist Borabadur, to the Hindu Prambanan.  There are many interesting cities to discover such as Jakarta & Yogyakarta.  Komodo Island has the famous “living dinosaur,” the Komodo dragon. Explore this amazing countryside, paddling down the Mahakam River of Borneo or hiking through the Ujong Kulon National Park. 


Myanmar - Burma

Myanmar (aka Burma) is the westernmost of the South East Asian countries.  It lies just west of Thailand but is very different in many, many ways.  There are at least 135 distinct ethnic groups in this country.  This country has many intriguing sites, such as the amazing giant Pagodas, like Schwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, completely covered in gold, which spreads a magical golden tint to the surrounding area, especially at sunset.  The many ancient temples of Bagan is one of the great Wonders of the World. The Inle Lake area is a beautiful lake with it ribbon like floating plant growths which divide it into lanes and hydroponic gardens.   surrounded by many small villages.  The unique fishing methods of the Myanmar fishermen who stand on the front of their boats and row with one leg and their cone basket fishing nets.  The Irrawaddy River has a famous River cruise that is a delightful experience (albeit not inexpensive).  There are also the interesting cultural sites of Mandalay and Bago as well as some beautiful beaches.    


The Philippines

The Philippines are home to some of the friendliest people in the whole world.  The Philippines also has some of the greatest beaches and island resorts including Borocay and Cebu.   You can have many magical tour experiences like swimming with the whale shark outside of Cebu or explore the beautiful underground river in Palawan.  Manila, the capital city is full of history, culture, fun, food and music, music, music.  Then there is the rural countryside including the gorgeous rice fields of Banaue.  Whatever you want to experience and enjoy in the Philippines, we can give you the best of the best. Singapore

Singapore is a country, an island, and a city all in one.  It has many interesting sites including the Merlion, the Port, Orchard Road, the Riverside, classic museums, Little India and China.  The original Raffles Hotel and its famous “Lounge Bar” is instantly an interesting site both for its history and because it is currently a great place to listen to live music and have one of their famous, “Singapore Slings.”  Singapore has a wealth of opportunities for shoppers, as well as many wonderful restaurants, bars, and clubs. With various amusement parks & entertainments, Sentosa Island has a lot of fun for the whole family. Singapore is also a great place to stop for a night or two on the way to another destination.

Thailand

A visit to Thailand will allow you to experience the wonderful hospitality, delicious foods, stunning scenery, beautiful temples, and endless beaches for which the country is so well known. Visit the fast paced city of Bangkok, take in the serenity surrounding areas to the north such as Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, and take a dip in the clear blue waters of the southern islands.
