Explore Spain

Within Spain exists a combination of rich history and culture, great food and wines, grand monuments, artistic masterpieces, and a beautiful variety of natural landscapes. Throughout the country there are Roman ruins, Moorish forts and Mezquitos, royal palaces, castles, and magnificent cathedrals that are sure to impress. Spain has also contributed much to the world of art; enjoy modernistic masterpieces of Gaudi’s architectural genius as well as great works from artists such as El Greco, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.
As a destination, Spain has the added bonus of offering an enjoyable nightlife for all ages; with a myriad of plazas, delightful restaurants, clubs, and bars, Spain has something for everyone. One of the more unique features of Spain are the 93 Panadores (castles, forts, and palaces that have been converted into hotels) which exist across the country; these provide visitors delightful accommodations while allowing them to truly experience historic Spain even from their hotels!

In many ways, Spain could be thought of as a number of worlds contained within one small country. There is the Castilian area of central Spain, including Madrid, Castilla De Leon, and Castilla De La Mancha (Madrid, Toledo, El Escorial, Avila, Segovia, Leon, and more). Then there is Catalonia, which includes Gerona, Monserrat, and beautiful Barcelona. Andalucía is characterized by a rich mixture of European and Moorish cultures, which is beautifully displayed in Seville, Cordoba and Granada as well as the gorgeous beaches of the Costa del Sol. Basque country is located in the Pyrenees and includes Pamplona, San Sebastian and Bilbao. Northern Spain is famous for its coastline, beach resorts and port cities (like Santander), while Galatia (the northwest coast of Spain) has as much in common with Ireland as it does with Spain.  Furthermore, the volcanic Canary Islands off the coast of Morocco add a beautiful mixture of majestic sand dunes, terraced farms, and beautiful beach resorts to the country’s large repertoire of unique locations.
